Common questions
What you should know before signing up.
Is the Free plan really free?
Yes. The full behavioral curriculum, the Balance Sheet technical module, and unlimited multiple-choice drilling. AI-graded FRQs are part of the paid tiers. You can stay on Free as long as you like; no credit card on file.
What's an FRQ?
Free-response question. The long-form interview questions (e.g. "walk me through a DCF"). They're graded by an AI rubric on accuracy, relevance, completeness, and precision: 1 to 5, with written feedback.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Plans are billed monthly and cancel through Stripe in one click. Cancellation stops future charges and your plan stays active through the period you've paid for. There's no minimum term.
Do you offer student discounts?
Not right now. If you're running a finance club or university cohort and want to talk group access, email support@alpheri.com.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Your full grade history stays. On a lower tier you get that tier's monthly FRQ quota (on Free, new AI grading pauses entirely). Past grades remain readable from the advisory dashboard.
Is the AI grader accurate?
It grades every answer on four explicit criteria: accuracy, relevance, completeness, and precision, calibrated against expert human graders. Two things make it trustworthy: it's consistent, so the same answer always earns the same grade, and it's concrete, so every grade comes with written feedback tied to those criteria. We tuned it to read like a tough-but-fair interviewer rather than a generous one, because practice that flatters you doesn't make you sharper.
